"Class Act" Victorious in SnickersState Cup Semi-Finals!

THUSC's U14A Girls Premier team hasdefeated Lake Oswego to advance to the Snickers State Cup CHAMPIONSHIP match!The winner of this match, to be played on Saturday 5/9/98 at Tualatin Hills RecCenter, will be crowned the state champion and will represent Oregon at theUSYSA Region IV competition.

In a thrilling match on Sunday5/3/98 in front of a huge crowd of well-wishers, Class Act emerged with a 3-2overtime win to play for the state championship.

It is a tremendous accomplishmentfor the team and THUSC is very excited that the Class Act have come togetherunder Noleen Conway's direction to play at such a high level.

They work and train hard year round.Their accomplishments include finishing first in the 1997 THUSC Invitationalagainst U15 Premier Teams and second in 1997 U14 Girls Premiere. A cohesive andmotivated unit, Class Act have traveled to California for the Surf and NomadTournaments and to Phoenix for the Presidents cup.
